Holiday Shopping Haul, Part 1: Malaysia

In this post, and the next few posts to come, you'll be getting a peek into my crazy shopping haul. It's crazy because I think I really overdid myself this time. To tell you the truth, I'm somewhat embarrassed to show you what I bought. You'll know what I mean when you see the pictures.

Okay, let's get on with things. First of all, here's what I bought when I was in Malaysia.

From left to right:
1. Eucerin White Solution Whitening Extra Treatment Fluid SPF 40
2. Bioessentials Aromatherapy Peaceful Sleep natural air freshener
3. Biotherm Celluli Laser (recommended by a friend; hey I'd try anything other than exercise to zap that orange peel)
4. Bioessentials Aromatherapy Orange Blossom pure floral water
5. Biore UV Daily Care Gel
6. Revlon ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 6 in Nude
7. Six bottles of Cellnique Pro Sebum Gel
8. The Body Shop's body mist in Apple Blossom
9. The Face Shop Quick and Clean Oil-Free Blemish Balm
10. Skin Food Aloe Sun BB Cream SPF 20 PA+
11. Evian facial spray
12. ROC Minesol 30 cooling atomiser (sunscreen spray)
13. Skin Food Cucumber Soothing Mask Sheet
14. Vaseline Lip Therapy lipbalms (plain and cherry-flavoured)
15. The Face Shop eye shadow in WH001 (white)

The reason I bought so many bottles of Cellnique's Pro Sebum Gel was that I ran out of it when I was in Melbourne. This time, I thought I'd stock up on 'em. This should last me a year and a half. It's sad that my skin is so dependant on the product (it keeps me from breaking out), if not I would have saved RM834 (they were priced at RM139 per bottle. Very expensive indeed) on those alone. Sigh.

I've always wanted to try BB (blemish balm) creams ever since I heard about it here in Melbourne. Unfortunately, Korean cosmetics are a lot more expensive here compared to what I could get in Malaysia. So far, I'm really liking the one by The Face Shop. I'll do a proper review on that soon.

I also bought a few tops in Malaysia, but they're currently in the wash. Nothing fancy, just some a couple of tee shirts and a blouse.

That's it for my Malaysian shopping haul. A lot, huh? There's more to come in Part 2, where I'll show you what I bought in the US.

Stay tuned!

Ooh wow! That's a big collection you've got there! Happy that you managed to bring back all of the stuff you needed that works for you that can't be found here. Most of the time, my luggage is just so full that I can't possibly bring back my "necessary" beauty buys. So sad! Can't wait for your US buys and reviews on your new finds. =)

I sense that someone put her hubby's baggage allowance to good use huh? *Winks*

Can't wait to see your US haul. I've been itching to plan an US trip just to stock up on cheap beauty supplies. They're SO overpriced for us this end of the globe. :(

    Askmewhats:
I know! *shame-faced* As for the products to stock up, well, I didn't have to buy a 1.5 years supply all at once, but it was sooner or later anyway that I'd to get them. Oh wait, in retrospect, maybe I shouldn't have gotten so many bottles at once. It took up baggage weight. I could have gotten more stuff from the US. Stupid, stupid! :(

    Plue:
    I'm on it! :p

    Prettybeautiful:
    Crazy, right? :p

    Paris:
Hahaha, thanks. You're one of the few who'd say that actually.

    Irenelim:
Hee hee, honey, I bought enough to last me a decade!

    Indulgent Diva:
I had my fingers crossed tightly in case I couldn't get enough space and weight. Glad it worked out though :p

    Cheeeezie:
    Aww thank you thank you!

    MisSmall:
Nah, his bag's full of HIS stuff! He went nuts at Macy's! All in all, he bought more clothes than I did!

    Syen:
You say waaaaaahh, pocket says OUUUUCCCCHH! :p

    Connie:
Sigh, I've been so bad, haven't I? You haven't seen most of it yet!

Malaysia is one of the best places to shop....

  13. # Blogger plue

    hi Sana,

I hope Tine don't mind me having a little chat with you, but um... I am from Malaysia, but I think it's not really that a good place to shop, especially cosmetic and skincare >_< The range is quite small :(

    cheers,
    plue
